OMNI Bank wants to help local students and teachers celebrate success through its Making the Grade campaign.
The bank is seeking nominations for the campaign, a public service initiative to highlight successful education programs, curricula, students and teachers in Jefferson, Orleans, St. Tammany and St. John the Baptist parishes.
The Making the Grade program allows teachers and principals to nominate programs and teachers in their school system that are making a difference in education.
The deadline for nominations is Dec. 31.
Top nominees will be selected to be presented in a print campaign and public service announcements that will broadcast throughout the school year.
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will also present each school a $2,000 grant from the Brees Dream Foundation.
